OMTEC Presentation: Arcamed Shares Insight on the Importance of Automation & AI

This week, Arcamed shared its strategic investments in automation and AI with OMTEC 2026.

Led by Arcamed President and CEO, Jon Desalvo, the presentation dove into Arcamed’s five-year journey to becoming an industry-leading partner in high-mix/low-volume manufacturing, and the growth that is yet to come.

Arcamed was founded with the awareness that automation and innovation are the future of manufacturing”, Jon explains. “We have taken our investments piece by piece, starting with the simplest and most repeatable tasks and growing year by year... Since then, our investments in automation and AI have established consistency in our quality and delivery metrics and cut down on lead times and cost. 

Automation and AI have transformed Arcamed from humble beginnings to an established name for consistency. As a future-forward company, reinvesting into manufacturing capabilities has always been a clear path forward to success. However, technological equipment can only go so far on its own.
