Position Overview

As a Design Engineer, you will design products for our customers and manage their project through the process. You will work directly with the customers to design surgical cases and trays to their specifications, create graphics for each project, and create drawings for each part for manufacturing.

REQUIRED ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Design product for each customer
  • Create and modify manufacturing drawings
  • Contacts customers for product inputs and changes during the development process
  • Participates in customer input meetings
  • Performs various other duties as assigned
  • Up to 10% travel, client meetings, trade shows, etc..

Special Projects:

  • Work with the Manufacturing department
  • Design new innovative surgical cases and trays
  • Continual improvement to Arcamed product and procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree + or completion of a technical specialty program of 18 months to 3 years duration in Drafting or Engineering
  • Experience in Engineering related functions and project management
  • Experience with CAD (Creo Parametric – 2 Years Preferred)
